About Hounslow Urban Farm
Hounslow Urban Farm is one of London's largest community farms, a 29-acre site at Faggs Road in Feltham, a short distance from Richmond upon Thames. It is home to a big mix of familiar farm animals and more unusual residents, from pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits and guinea pigs to peacocks, turkeys, chickens, reptiles and African leopard tortoises. There are indoor and outdoor play areas for children, and at weekends and during school holidays an ever-changing line-up of family activities including animal encounters, owl displays, Shetland pony riding and pig races. An on-site cafe, toilets and free parking make for an easy full-day visit, and the largely flat site is manageable with pushchairs. Admission is £8.50 for adults and £7.00 for children aged 2 to 16, with a family ticket at £28.00 and under-2s free. The farm is open seven days a week from 10am to 5pm with last entry at 4pm, closing only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Booking is not required for general entry, though some seasonal activities may be bookable.
