The park has a strong family offer, with a large children's play area, natural play features and a children's sensory play area that includes a wheelchair-accessible roundabout, as well as outdoor gym equipment for older visitors and adults. There are also sports courts, tennis courts and self-guided orienteering courses, plus benches, picnic tables and surfaced paths throughout.
