About Blairtummock Park

Blairtummock Park is a community green space in Easterhouse, in the east end of Glasgow, managed by Glasgow City Council. The park is a popular spot for walking and running, with parking on site and a children's play area, and it forms part of the wider Seven Lochs Wetland Park, Scotland's largest urban nature park. In April 2024 a free, family-friendly activity trail was launched at Blairtummock Park, packed with multi-sensory activities, storytelling and games that guide children to explore the different habitats in the park and the animals that live there, with the trail available to download online or followed using QR codes on posts around the park. The park sits beside the Pavilion Youth Centre on Aberdalgie Road, and as the centre marks its 25th anniversary a major redevelopment has been proposed in partnership with Glasgow City Council that would add a new feature play area, a cycle pump track, bouldering stones, an outdoor gym, a landscaped meeting point and improvements to the multi-use games area. With its existing play area, activity trail and open habitats, Blairtummock Park is a valued free, public green space for families in Easterhouse.
