About Better Play, Bath Sports & Leisure Centre
Better Play is the indoor soft play area at Bath Sports & Leisure Centre on North Parade Road in Bath, run by the leisure operator Better (GLL). The centrepiece is a fully enclosed five-storey play structure where children can climb, crawl, hang, slide and tackle the usual soft play challenges in a safe, padded environment. It is open to under-12s but is most popular with children aged two to five, so it suits toddlers and pre-schoolers particularly well, and at quieter times there is no time limit on a visit, though sessions may be capped at an hour during very busy periods. Being part of a larger leisure centre means there is a cafe and diner area on site where parents and carers can sit with a drink, plus changing facilities and parking. Soft play birthday parties are available at weekends in set afternoon slots, with space for up to thirty children and no minimum age. Soft play runs daily, with shorter weekend hours, and families can book online or check availability on the day. With its central Bath location and leisure-centre facilities, Better Play is a handy wet-weather option for younger children.
