About Treasure Island Play
Treasure Island Play is a multi-award-winning indoor soft play centre on Bristol Road South in Northfield, south Birmingham. It opened in November 2005 and has built a strong reputation as one of the most enjoyable play experiences for children in the area, from toddlers up to juniors. The centre is built around a striking pirate-ship framework packed with slides, ball pools, a rope bridge, climbs and tunnels, alongside a sports court with a football zone complete with home and away goals for more energetic play. Younger visitors are well looked after thanks to a completely separate under-4s section, which includes interactive soft play, a ball blower, a caterpillar tunnel, trampolines and smaller slides to help little ones build confidence, plus a sensory zone added for 2025. The centre is open seven days a week, with longer weekday hours and shorter weekend sessions, and admission is charged per child on arrival. Parents and carers can order from the on-site cafe menu while the children play, and themed party rooms accommodating up to 30 children are available for birthdays. With reliable indoor play whatever the weather, Treasure Island is a dependable outing for families across Northfield and south Birmingham.
