About Manor Farm Park
Manor Farm Park is a 50-acre green space in Northfield, south-west Birmingham, managed by Birmingham City Council. The land was once part of the farmland estate of chocolate manufacturer and philanthropist George Cadbury, and the park today includes a large open expanse known as the Great Meadow. For families there is a dedicated children's play area with play equipment, and the park offers picnic spots with a permanent shelter and picnic tables, including wheelchair space. Fishing is also available. Free parking is provided on site, and bus routes 20, 21 and 63 pass near the park. There are no toilets within the park itself; the nearest public toilets are at Victoria Common, behind the Grosvenor Shopping Centre in Northfield. Entrances can be found off Bristol Road South, Whitehall Lane, Lovell Close, Eymore Close and Manor Drive, giving good access from several directions.
