About Fun Shack Newcastle
Fun Shack Newcastle is a large indoor soft play and adventure centre at Benfield Business Park off Benfield Road in the east of Newcastle upon Tyne. Spanning tens of thousands of square feet, it is one of the biggest soft play venues in the North East, with giant multi-level play frames, volcano slides, tubby slides, cannon-ball arenas and ball pools for children with energy to burn. Younger visitors are catered for with a toddler village and a dedicated baby area, including a pirate zone with foam bricks and a hard-play village, so little ones have their own safe space. Parents and carers can relax in the on-site cafe between turns on the frames. The centre is open every day except Tuesdays, running term-time, weekend and school-holiday admission with different prices by age, and under-twelve-months play free alongside a paying sibling. Toddler Time sessions run on term-time weekday mornings for the under-fours. Fun Shack also hosts birthday parties with food and party bags, and families can walk in or book online in advance. With covered play whatever the weather, it is a reliable day out for families across Newcastle.
