About Holbrooks Park

Holbrooks Park is on Holbrook Lane in the Holbrooks area of north Coventry, run by Coventry City Council, and forms an oasis of open land amid the shops and factories that line Holbrook Lane. The park has an enclosed children's play area with equipment including baby swings, children's swings, a see-saw, a climbing area and a slide, alongside a separate natural play area that makes use of the landscape. For older children and teenagers there is a double skate bowl and a single-court multi-use games area for ball sports. The park also has football pitches, used by Coventrians Football Club, and a 1500m walking and jogging trail on a mixture of footpaths and grass with distance markers. Unlike many inner-Coventry parks, Holbrooks Park has a free car park accessible from Holbrook Lane. The park has defined opening hours that change with the season: 9:30am to 6:30pm from April to September and 9:30am to 3:00pm from October to March, with the gates opening between 8:30am and 9:30am daily. It is free to enter. The mix of enclosed and natural play, a skate bowl and sports facilities gives Holbrooks Park good variety for a range of ages.
