About Cash's Park
Cash's Park sits on Kingfield Road in the Foleshill area of Coventry, between Foleshill and Hillfields, and is managed by Coventry City Council. The park was redeveloped and reopened in March 2009, designed to encourage play within the context of the natural landscape and environment of the area rather than in a single fenced compound. The children's play area offers a range of equipment to give a variety of physical challenges for children of all ages, including climbing frames, spinning disks, see-saws, swings, weave posts and a timber balancing wall. There is also a small area aimed at teenagers, which includes a further climbing frame and a basketball hoop frame. A 460m walking and jogging trail loops the park on a mixture of footpaths and grass, suitable for buggies and casual exercise. The park is open from dawn to dusk and is free to enter. Unlike some inner-city Coventry parks, Cash's Park has a free car park, accessed from the entrance off Cash's Lane, making it easy to reach by car as well as on foot. Its mix of natural landscaping and varied equipment makes it a flexible local park for families across the Foleshill area.
