About Red House Park
Red House Park is a well-used green space on Stoney Stanton Road in the Foleshill area of Coventry, and is run by Coventry City Council. It is described by the council as one of the few public open spaces in this very built-up part of the city, giving the surrounding streets a valuable place to play and relax. The park has an enclosed children's play area which includes a slide, a couple of climbing frames and a tyre swing, aimed at younger children. Near the park's entrance there is a floodlit multi-use games area (MUGA) that can be used for basketball, football and other common sports, extending use into the evening. A path leads through the park to a slightly larger grassy open space that is well suited to dog walkers and general jogging or exercise. The park is open from dawn to dusk and is free to enter. There is no dedicated car park; road parking is available but limited by yellow lines in the immediate area, and St Paul's Road is noted as having the fewest parking restrictions nearby. Compact but genuinely useful, Red House Park is an everyday neighbourhood park serving a densely populated corner of Foleshill.
