About Forge Mill Farm
Forge Mill Farm is one of two farm visitor centres within Sandwell Valley Country Park, on Forge Lane in West Bromwich, and is run by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. It is a registered rare-breeds farm that is home to over 300 animals - cows, goats, sheep, horses, chickens and more - loved by its visitors, and it combines a farm trail and interactive activities with a brand-new purpose-built indoor adventure play area complete with slides and a tree house. A farm shop sells coffee to go, eggs from the farm and honey from the farm's own bees, and the surrounding country park adds walks and views to the day out. The farm is open seven days a week from 10am to 4pm, with last entry at 3:30pm. Admission is charged - with adult, child, concession and family tickets, under-2s free and registered carers free - and tickets and events can be booked online. The farm provides an accessibility statement on its website, and there is parking within Sandwell Valley Country Park.
