About Bonnygrove Park
Bonnygrove Park is a neighbourhood green space in the Marton area of south Middlesbrough, listed among the council's recognised playgrounds. It is a local play park serving the surrounding Marton West community, with a children's play area set in open green space. The park has benefited from council investment in recent years, with improvements such as footpaths and fencing carried out in the Marton West ward. Because it is a smaller community park rather than one of Middlesbrough's large flagship sites, published details about its exact equipment and facilities are limited, but it is confirmed by Middlesbrough Council as an open, free-to-use play area. It makes a handy, no-cost stop for families living nearby who want somewhere close to let younger children play, and the open green space gives room for ball games and kicking a ball about alongside the play equipment. As a local park it is quieter than Middlesbrough's big flagship sites, which can suit families with toddlers looking for a calmer spot. The park is managed by Middlesbrough Council and is open daily, with entry free of charge all year round.
