About Little Farmers at Craigies Farm

Little Farmers at Craigies Farm is a family adventure farm park a short drive from Edinburgh, set on a working farm just outside South Queensferry. It pairs a mini animal farm with more than 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor play, so children can meet the farmyard residents and then let off steam. The animals include pigs, sheep, pygmy goats, Shetland ponies, chickens, bunnies, donkeys, Highland cows and a Clydesdale horse, with daily feeding and petting times and scheduled animal shows to join in with. The play areas are packed with slides, towers, rope bridges, ladders, poles and troughs, designed with families and children aged roughly one to ten in mind, though older kids enjoy it too. A nature detective trail adds an outdoor element, and seasonal pick-your-own runs at the adjoining Craigies Farm. There's a spacious cafe and a well-regarded farm shop on site, plus parking. Little Farmers is a nut-free environment and all visitors must pre-book tickets online, with cheaper weekday prices and family tickets available. It's open every day, making it a reliable rainy-day or sunny-day option for families in the Edinburgh area.
