About Bentley Park

Bentley Park on Askern Road is a fantastic outdoor space steeped in history, renowned for its beautiful pavilion and for having the borough's only water play area. That water play area, newly refurbished, is the stand-out attraction for families on warmer days, and it sits alongside separate toddler and junior play areas that also feature a zip-wire and a trampoline. The park gives older children and teenagers plenty to do too, with a multi-use games area, a skate park, sports pitches and a bowling green. Its historic pavilion adds character, and the whole park is cared for to a high standard, having won a Green Flag Award, the national mark of a well-managed public green space. Parking is available at Cooke Street, and the park is managed by City of Doncaster Council and is free to visit. With its unusual water play feature, varied play equipment and wide range of sports facilities, Bentley Park is one of the most family-friendly parks on the north side of Doncaster and a popular spot throughout the year for play, picnics and community events.
