About Kingsway Soft Play
Kingsway Soft Play sits alongside Clip 'n Climb Derby on Kingsway Park Close in Mackworth, next to the Kingsway Retail Park and the A38 on the western side of the city. The soft play is split into two sections, one for children aged 0-4 and a bigger frame for ages 5-11, so toddlers and older children each have their own space with ball pits, slides and climbing features. Being next door to Clip 'n Climb, older siblings and families can combine a soft play session with the climbing walls. The on-site Rocky Road Cafe serves drinks and snacks, and adults go free to supervise from the cafe area. Opening hours are daily 9am to 5:30pm, apart from Tuesdays during term time when it is closed. Prices start at £2.50 to £3 for under 2s and £5.50 to £6.50 for ages 3-11, depending on whether it is peak or off-peak. Drop-off parking is free for ten minutes, with longer parking available nearby through the JustPark app. Booking online is recommended for busy weekends and school holidays, though walk-ins are usually accommodated.
