About Mace Playce
Mace Playce is a family-run indoor soft play centre on the Springfield Trading Estate in Chelmsford, catering for children from birth to around twelve years old. The centre is laid out with two separate play areas, one for under-5s and one for older children, so toddlers can explore safely away from the bigger kids, plus a dedicated baby area for the very youngest visitors. Alongside the climbing frame, slides and soft play there is a games area, and surprise character appearances are part of the fun. Parents and carers can refuel at the on-site snack bar while the children play. The venue is popular for birthday parties, with party packages bookable online, and it runs monthly SEND sessions for children with additional needs. It is open seven days a week, opening late morning on Sundays, and families can generally walk in for a play session as well as pre-book parties. With on-site parking and a long-established local reputation, Mace Playce is a dependable choice for a rainy-day outing in Chelmsford.
