Families can buy bags of feed for a hands-on feeding experience that is a favourite with children and adults alike. There is a small outdoor wooden play area for younger children, picnic spots and a recently refurbished cafe, and the farm sits alongside a 4-acre coarse fishing lake. The Farm Park is open seven days a week from 10:30am to 6:30pm, and no booking is required, so families are welcome to drop in during opening hours. Entry is £5.00 for adults and £4.00 for children, with animal feed at £1.00 a bag. Note that the farm is cash only, so it is worth bringing cash for admission, feed and the cafe.
