About Farrington's Farm Park

Farrington's Farm Park sits at Home Farm in Farrington Gurney, in the countryside between Bristol and Bath. It is a free place for families to spend the day, built around a tractor-themed outdoor playground that has been revamped with new play equipment and all-weather surfacing, so it works whatever the weather. Alongside the outdoor play area is an indoor Playbarn with soft play for younger children. While Farrington's is not a petting zoo, visitors can see a few farm animals during their visit, including sheep, goats and chickens; the farm asks that you do not feed or touch them. The Farm Park and Playbarn open Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm and Sunday from 9am to 4pm. Entry to the park is free, and the owners ask families to support the business by buying food and drink. On site there is a cafe, a seasonal Snack Shack, and a well-stocked farm shop and deli. There is free on-site parking with allocated disabled spaces. Dogs are not permitted in the farm shop, cafe, playbarn or park, so it is a day out for the family rather than four-legged friends.
