About Playtopia
Playtopia is an indoor soft play centre on the Boundary Industrial Estate at Breightmet in Bolton, built for children aged 1 to 12. The play frame is packed with sensory games, thrilling slides and colourful ball pits for older children to climb, crawl and explore, while a specialised area for toddlers under the age of two gives babies and little ones a safe, gentler space of their own. Alongside the soft play, the venue has a sports court and a gym room, adding extra ways for energetic children to play and setting it apart from a standard soft play. There is a cafe on site where parents and carers can relax with food and drink, and the centre runs children's birthday parties. Entry is good value and split into off-peak and peak pricing: booking online, children aged 1-12 are from £5.50 off-peak and £7.95 at peak times, with adults just £1; walk-in prices are slightly higher at £6.50 off-peak and £8.50 peak. The centre is open seven days a week, opening at 9am on Mondays and 9:30am from Tuesday to Sunday, with later weekend closing. You can walk in or book online, and booking ahead can save money and guarantee entry at busy times.
