About Washbrooks Family Farm

Washbrooks Family Farm is a long-established family-run attraction on the Brighton Road at Hurstpierpoint, a short drive north of Brighton and Hove. Set across around 18 acres, it blends a working-farm feel with plenty of play, so children can meet the animals and then burn off energy whatever the weather. A variety of traditional farm breeds live in the barn and surrounding fields and paddocks for little visitors to spot. The play offering is generous: outdoors there is a zipwire, trampolines, a pirate ship, a jumping pillow, a sandpit and swings, plus a pedal area with ride-on tractors and scooters, while indoors there are slides, a ball pit and climbing areas, including a dedicated toddler zone. The on-site Tearoom serves hot meals, sandwiches and snacks from 9:30am to 4pm, and families are welcome to bring picnics for the outdoor areas. The farm is best suited to children under eight. There is free parking with accessible spaces, baby-changing facilities and step-free routes over mixed surfaces. No booking is needed - tickets are bought at the entrance on the day - and the farm opens daily from 9:30am to 5pm.
