About Kenton Park Sports Centre Soft Play
Kenton Park Sports Centre runs a brightly coloured indoor soft play within its community sports centre on Anfield Road in North Kenton, Newcastle upon Tyne. Aimed at children aged eight and under, the soft play is full of mini obstacles and climbing, with a giant spinning slide and, importantly for the little ones, a ball pit. There is a dedicated toddler area so babies and pre-schoolers can play safely alongside, away from the busier main play. Soft play sessions run for an hour and a half, and because party bookings can take over the space at busier times, especially at weekends, it is recommended to book before visiting. The centre is open for soft play on weekdays, with weekend availability depending on parties. As part of a wider sports centre, there are cafe facilities, toilets and parking on site, and the venue hosts children's birthday parties in the soft play. It is a handy, community-run option for families with younger children in the Kenton and wider Newcastle area looking for an affordable indoor play session.
