About Victoria Park, Tipton
Victoria Park in Tipton is a popular local park managed by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council, offering a strong mix of play and sports facilities close to the centre of Tipton. Families are well catered for with two children's play areas, one aimed at four-to-eight-year-olds and a second for older children aged eight to fourteen, so there is something for a wide range of ages. Alongside the playgrounds there is a skate park for scooters, skateboards and BMX, plus tennis courts and grass pitches used for football and cricket. The park is built around an attractive ornamental lake, a focal point for walkers and a draw for local wildlife, and there is also outdoor gym equipment and a wildflower area that adds seasonal colour and supports pollinators. With its combination of formal recreation, open green space and water, Victoria Park is one of Tipton's best-used community parks and a reliable choice for an afternoon out. It is free to enter and open to the public at all times, making it easy to drop in whenever families fancy some fresh air and play.
