About Bramley Fall Park & Woods

Bramley Fall Park and Woods is a large area of ancient woodland and parkland on the north-west edge of Bramley, overlooking the Aire Valley and managed by Leeds City Council. It combines natural woodland with more traditional park facilities, making it a good spot for families who want play and open-air exploring in one visit. The enclosed children's playground, located next to the car park off Leeds and Bradford Road, features the classic swings and slide combination in a safe, fenced space. Beyond the play area, the park's main appeal is its scenery: mature woodland criss-crossed with walking trails, open playing fields and picnic areas where families can spread out. There is a trim trail with outdoor gym stations for those who want some exercise, and the woods are a good place for bird watching, while a local anglers' society manages fishing on site. Wide open spaces on the fringes of the park are ideal for letting dogs off the lead, and dog waste bins are provided. There are two free car parks, one run by the council off Leeds and Bradford Road and a larger one on Pollard Lane. There are no toilets or a cafe on site, but the nearby Abbey Inn and Rock Inn pubs offer refreshments.
