About Victoria Park

Victoria Park is a Green Flag neighbourhood park in the Trinity area of north Edinburgh, close to North Leith and managed by the City of Edinburgh Council. The park is well set up for families, with two separate play areas: a larger one aimed at older children and a smaller one for toddlers. The main play area is built around a giant, interconnected multi-play unit with climbing walls and other climbing features, a hanging walkway, several slides, monkey bars and games, making it a popular adventure playground. Alongside the play areas the park offers all-weather enclosed courts for football, basketball and tennis, a cycle route, and a large circular path that is good for little ones on bikes and scooters, plus picnic tables, seating and plenty of open green space. The park has held a Green Flag Award since 2011 in recognition of its quality as a greenspace. Flat paths and wheelchair access make it easy to get around with buggies. A free, well-equipped local park, Victoria Park is a reliable choice for families in Trinity, Newhaven and the wider north Edinburgh area.
