About Frankly Farm Tours
Frankly Farm Tours is a small, welcoming open farm at Caughley Farm, Broseley, on the Willey Estate just south of Telford and the Ironbridge Gorge. It is built around getting close to the animals, with around 50 residents including alpacas, llamas, Dexter cattle and Europe's smallest cows, rare-breed and Ouessant sheep, pygmy goats, giant and standard rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, chickens and geese. The enclosed courtyard layout makes it especially popular with young families, as it is easy to get around with a pram and does not involve long, tiring walks. In the courtyard there is a play area and picnic tables where children can take a break, and the Farmyard Cafe serves coffee, tea, snacks and home-baked goods, with a small gift shop alongside. Facilities include free parking, portable toilets with an accessible loo and baby-changing, and handwashing stations, and most of the farm is accessible to wheelchair users despite some uneven ground. The farm opens Monday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm. You can simply turn up, though booking ahead is recommended, and off-peak admission starts at £6.95 for adults and £3.50 for under-13s.
