About Roves Farm
Roves Farm is a family-run visitor centre and farm park at Sevenhampton, just outside Swindon. It is built around hands-on animal contact: friendly farm animals including lambs, piglets, goats, sheep, cows, rabbits, chickens and tortoises live across the barns and paddocks, and sessions throughout the day let families feed goats, collect eggs and cuddle rabbits. Play is a big part of the day too, with the heated Puddle Duck Play Barn, indoor soft play, pedal and ride-on tractors, a giant sandpit, an outdoor playground and a three-level rabbit warren tunnel maze. There are dedicated toddler and 0-18 month sessions, and the Woolly Sheep Cafe serves coffee, light lunches and homemade treats. Parking is free with disabled spaces, toilets include an accessible toilet in the main barn, and dogs are welcome in the Shepherd's Rest and the Rambler's Retreat seating area but not in the main farm, shop, cafe or indoor play (assistance dogs excepted). Entry is around GBP 10.80 for adults and children, GBP 4.50 for toddlers and free for under-2s, with door tickets costing a little more, so advance online booking is recommended. The farm is open daily from 9am and runs seasonal events through the year, so it is worth checking the website before you travel.
