About Parc Llewelyn
Parc Llewelyn is a much-loved community park serving the Morriston, Mynyddbach and Landore areas of Swansea, managed by Swansea Council. Set on high ground, it is known for its beautiful views across Swansea and for a thriving community centre, popular dog walks, tennis courts and an orienteering course, along with a dedicated Parc Llewelyn Heritage Trail that tells the story of the area. The children's play area was rebuilt as part of the council's city-wide multi-million-pound play upgrade programme and officially reopened by the council leader, giving youngsters a castle-style multiplay unit, swings, a roundabout, a trampoline and more. The Parc Llewelyn Community Centre can be hired for events and functions and provides the park's parking. Entry to the park is free. With its hilltop setting and wide-open grassland it is a good spot for families who want fresh air, a play session and a walk with a view, and the adjoining community facilities make it a genuine neighbourhood hub for Morriston.
