About Ardler Village Park

Ardler Village Park is the central green space of Ardler, a north-west Dundee neighbourhood comprehensively regenerated from the former multi-storey 'multis' into a low-rise village, with the park laid out at its heart around Turnberry Avenue and Scotscraig Road. It is a free, open community park designed as the shared play and recreation hub for local families. The fenced core play area offers cradle and junior swings, junior multiplay units with slides, multiplay units with tube slides, stand-spinner roundabouts, a seesaw and a climbing wall, laid out on wetpour and bark surfacing with gated access. For older children there are two separate agility trails running through the park, combining balance weavers, traverse walls, a wobbly bridge, a suspension bridge, rope walks, rolling-log traverses and a crawling pyramid, which give a good physical challenge and a fitness circuit for teenagers. A multi-use games area with a basketball arena provides space for informal team games, and the surrounding grass and benches make it easy for families to spend time outdoors. The park is managed by Dundee City Council, is free to enter and open year-round. Toilet, parking and cafe provision is not confirmed on official sources.
