About Springfields Park

Springfields Park is a large park next to the Springbank Community Resource Centre in the west of Cheltenham, landscaped with ditches, ponds and wild planting to encourage wildlife. It has two playgrounds: a small, enclosed play area suited to toddlers up to the age of five next to the community centre, and a larger natural play area set in the middle of the parkland, with equipment including a pendulum swing, climbing posts and log bridges across the ditches. Older children and teenagers are well served too, with a zipline, half pipe, BMX track, a multi-use games area and a youth shelter. The Springbank Community Cafe provides refreshments, with toilets inside the community centre, plenty of benches and picnic tables, and car parking on site. Accessible paths and accessible play equipment make the park welcoming for all. A recipient of the Green Flag Award, Springfields Park combines natural, nature-rich landscaping with a strong range of play and sports facilities for all ages. The park is free to enter and open to the public.
