About Finkley Down Farm
Finkley Down Farm is an award-winning family farm park set in the Hampshire countryside near Andover, roughly a 20-minute drive from Basingstoke. It blends the feel of a traditional farm with a modern family day out, so there is plenty to do whatever the weather. Children can meet more than ten animal species including pigs, rabbits, lambs and chicks, with hands-on petting and feeding sessions running through the day - you buy food buckets at reception, and in season little ones can even bottle-feed baby lambs. The site also stages a sheep race for visitors to watch. When energy levels need an outlet there is a giant indoor play barn with areas aimed at different ages, plus the Little Farmers Driving School. Facilities include an on-site cafe serving hot and cold food, toilets with baby changing, a gift shop and free parking. The farm is open seven days a week, year round, and online pre-booking is recommended for the best prices. It is a well-set-up, hands-on day out that suits toddlers through primary-age children.
