About Senneleys Park

Senneleys Park is a public park in Bartley Green, operated by Birmingham City Council, offering a blend of large open green spaces, hedgerows and a tree-lined stream. It caters for a wide range of tastes with recreational and activity areas: families will find two children's play areas, while older children and teenagers are well served by a basketball court, a BMX track, an outdoor exercise area and a skate park. There is also a picnic area, and parking is available at the Senneleys Park Road entrance. The park is criss-crossed by a stream and two brooks that now attract a variety of wildlife and birds, including kingfishers, making it a pleasant spot for a quiet walk as well as active play. A distinctive sculpture, 'Remains of a Pyramid' by Avtarjeet Singh Dhanjal, is located within the grounds. Note there are no toilets on site. With its two play areas plus wheeled-sports facilities, Senneleys Park is a strong choice for families with children of mixed ages.
