About Aldenham Country Park Farm
Aldenham Country Park is a not-for-profit country park on Aldenham Road at Elstree, a short drive from Watford, with a farm at its heart. The farm is home to cows, pigs, sheep, goats and alpacas, as well as donkeys, ponies, rabbits and guinea pigs, and runs animal feeding and petting sessions so children can get involved. Pony rides operate most days from Easter to October on a first-come basis. Alongside the animals there is an adventure playground with swings, a zip wire, climbing equipment and sand and water play, while a separate play park is included with the parking charge. The wider park includes the 100 Aker Wood and open green space for walks. The park is open every day from 9:00, with the adventure playground and SEND pavilion open at weekends. Farm admission is £5.00 for adults and £4.50 for children aged two and over, the second adventure playground costs £3 per child, and parking is £4.50 a day or £4.00 if pre-booked online. Farm day passes and parking can be booked online in advance. There is a cafe and kiosk and toilets throughout, a SEND pavilion for children with additional needs, and dogs are welcome on a lead and under control.
