About Deen City Farm

Deen City Farm is a vibrant community farm and riding school on a 5-acre site at Merton Abbey, in Colliers Wood near Wimbledon and within easy reach of Richmond upon Thames. Run as a registered charity, it is home to over 200 animals, including donkeys, Shetland cows, an alpaca, sheep, goats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, poultry and turkeys. Families can take a leisurely stroll around the farm, drop in to a meet-and-greet session to pet the smaller residents, or book a large-animal encounter to get close to a goat, sheep or donkey. Short pony rides can be booked for little ones from age two to seven, with longer rides and lessons for older children and adults through the riding school. There is a wooden playground, picnic tables, a shop for animal food and merchandise, the Brioche farmhouse cafe, toilets and free parking. Wellies are a good idea as the farm can get muddy. Entry is free with donations welcomed, and the farm is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 4:30pm, closed on Mondays except bank holidays.
