About Farm Stop

Farm Stop is a small, interactive family farm at Portlethen, about 10 minutes south of Aberdeen just off the A92. It is an all-weather attraction built around hands-on animal sessions, so every visit must be pre-booked to keep groups small and the experience personal. Families get up close to pet, cuddle and feed a wide range of farm animals, including sheep, cattle, goats, pigs, donkeys, bunnies, ducks, chickens and alpacas. Because sessions are structured and booked in advance, it is a calmer, more guided alternative to a large farm park, which also helps make it suitable for younger children and for visitors who prefer a quieter setting. The farm offers relaxed sessions and has disabled access and disabled parking on site, and it can be reached by train or bus to Portlethen as well as by car. Opening is organised around bookable sessions rather than fixed drop-in hours, so the current calendar and prices should be checked on the Farm Stop website before travelling.
