About Bruce Castle Park Playground
Bruce Castle Park surrounds the Grade I listed Bruce Castle, a former 16th-century manor house that has housed the London Borough of Haringey's local history museum since 1906. The park covers around eight hectares of parkland and is cared for by the council's parks service; it was the first of Haringey's parks to win a Green Flag Award and has retained it since. For families the park offers two children's playgrounds, one more traditional and one with natural play features, plus a summer paddling pool and a historic oak tree among many trees and shrubs. There is a car park with accessible parking and toilet facilities on site, and the museum is free to visit. As part of the borough's investment in play areas, the Bruce Castle playground was upgraded during improvement works in 2026 with new equipment; please check the council website for the latest status before travelling. Entry to the park is free and the grounds are freely accessible year round.
