About Lordship Recreation Ground Playground
Lordship Recreation Ground is a large public park in Tottenham, in the London Borough of Haringey, which owns and manages it in partnership with a local users' forum. The park is well known for its children's playground and for the Model Traffic Area, a scaled-down road network opened in 1938 where children can ride cycles, and in summer a small paddling pool for toddlers. On site is the Lordship Hub, a community-run eco-building café serving coffee, cakes and hot food, with meeting rooms and toilet facilities. The wider grounds include open green space and host a regular parkrun. As part of a borough-wide investment in play areas, the Lordship Recreation Ground playground was upgraded during improvement works in 2026 with new play equipment; please check the council website for the latest status before travelling. Entry to the park is free and the grounds are freely accessible. Facilities are maintained by Haringey Council.
