Landseer Park is a large open green space in the south-east of Ipswich, lying north of Landseer Road, and is run by Ipswich Borough Council as a free public park. It is mostly made up of wide, open grassland used by dog walkers, joggers and local families, with National Cycle Route 51 running through it. For families, the main attraction is a high-quality children's playground at the Clapgate Lane end of the park, with equipment including swings and slides. The park is also home to Ipswich BMX Club, which runs a purpose-built 8-lane BMX track in the middle of the site for racing, events and coaching sessions; it is one of the park's most distinctive features and draws riders from across the area.
