About Winton Park Playground
Winton Park, on Dover Street in Winton near Eccles, first opened in 1906 and is managed by Salford City Council. It has recently undergone a major refurbishment that added a new central grassed area, installed public toilets and improved the bowler's pavilion, and it is a Green Flag Award-winning park — one of ten Salford green spaces to retain the award in 2025.
