About Dunvant Park
Dunvant Park is a community park off Goetre Fawr Road in Dunvant, on the western edge of Swansea towards Gower. It offers a range of activities from the bowling green to the children's play area, giving the community a place to meet and play. As part of Swansea Council's multi-million-pound programme of play-area improvements, the park received a makeover featuring multiplay units, disability-compliant swings and a roundabout, a trampoline and a new rubber safety surface. An all-weather multi use games area (MUGA) has also been installed, providing opportunities for children to take part in sports including football, basketball and netball. The park is reached by heading westbound along Gower Road (A4118) through Killay, turning at the mini roundabout onto Goetre Fawr Road, with the entrance part way up the road via a narrow lane. The combination of play equipment, games area and bowling green makes it a well-used local green space for families in Dunvant and the surrounding Killay area. Entry is free.
