About Northycote Farm and Country Park
Northycote Farm and Country Park is a free, family-friendly country park on Underhill Lane in Bushbury, on the northern edge of Wolverhampton, managed by City of Wolverhampton Council. At its centre is a historic Tudor farmhouse surrounded by around 90 acres of woodland, grassland and nature, with a brook running through and waymarked walks to explore. Families come to see the farm animals – typically including chickens, ducks, geese, pigs and other livestock – which are free to view, as well as to use the children's play area and the more natural woodland play spaces among the trees. A tea room offers good-value refreshments, and the site has a free car park plus toilets with baby changing and accessible facilities. Entry and parking are free, making it an affordable day out. Dogs are welcome across the wider country park and woodland on leads, though not in the farm animal area or inside the cafe. The country park is open daily, with the animal enclosures, tearoom and car park keeping their own set hours, so it is worth checking times before a visit if you are coming specifically for the animals or farmhouse.
