About Fowler's Park

Fowler's Park is a community park in the Park Village area of Wolverhampton, between the city centre and Wednesfield, with access from Nine Elms Lane and Prole Street. Managed by City of Wolverhampton Council, it is an important recreational hub for families and children in the surrounding neighbourhood. The children's play area has been refurbished through a project funded by a developer under a Section 106 agreement, replacing older equipment with modern play features designed for various ages and abilities. The upgrade included specially designed inclusive equipment so that disabled and able-bodied children can play together, coloured rubber safety surfacing with graphics, and a ramp with handrails improving access from the park's perimeter path. Beyond the playground, Fowler's Park offers a skate park popular with older children and teenagers, a basketball court, several football pitches and outdoor fitness equipment, giving the park something for a wide range of ages. A large pond adds a natural focal point to the green space. With its mix of play, sport and open ground, Fowler's Park is a well-used local park for Park Village families.
